Dirty paper pickup rollers in the cassette. Clean them.
Procedure:
- Turn off and unplug the printer.
- Disconnect all cables.
- Slide out the paper cassette and remove all paper.
- Carefully place the printer on its side.
- Use a soft, moist cloth to clean the cassette rollers shown in the diagram. Gently rotate them to clean all around.
- Return the printer to its upright position. Do not leave it on its side—ink may leak.
- Re-load paper, reinsert the cassette, and reconnect power and cables.
Heads Up: Be careful not to trap your fingers when placing the printer on its side.
