DIAGNOSIS The machine is detecting a water supply issue despite a full tank. The most common cause is a malfunctioning or stuck water level sensor float.
FIX Power off and unplug the unit. Remove the water reservoir. Locate the small white plastic float inside the sensor chamber. Manually move it up and down its post several times to ensure it moves freely. Reinstall the reservoir, plug in, and power on. The ‘add water’ light should extinguish.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check for a kinked or pinched water inlet tube inside the machine. With the unit off, inspect the clear silicone tube running from the reservoir to the pump. Straighten any bends or obstructions.
HEADS UP Do not run the machine with the ‘add water’ light on. It will not initiate a cycle and may damage the water pump.
