The clicking is likely the tactile feedback from the button presses. This is normal operation.
- The CONTROL PANEL buttons (POWER, 1, 2, SMART FINISH, MATCH COOK, FUNCTION buttons, START/PAUSE, TEMP arrows, TIME arrows) are mechanical and will make an audible click when pressed.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the click is accompanied by the unit not responding, or if there is a continuous clicking not tied to your button press, unplug the unit immediately. Check for spilled food or liquid on the control panel. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth only when the unit is completely cool and unplugged. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
HEADS UP: Should the unit emit black smoke, unplug it immediately. Wait for smoking to stop before removing the baskets. This indicates a serious malfunction.
