one of the baskets on my ninja foodi won't start cooking, the other one works fine

You're likely trying to use a function in that zone that's restricted, or the zone isn't selected.

1. Press the Power button to turn the unit on. It defaults to zone 1 control.
2. To cook in zone 2, you must select it. Press the "2" button on the control panel. The zone 2 indicator should illuminate.
3. Select your desired FUNCTION button (AIR FRY, BAKE, ROAST, REHEAT, DEHYDRATE). Note: AIR BROIL can only be used in one zone at a time. If it's active in zone 1, it will not be available for zone 2.
4. Set temperature and time. Press START/PAUSE.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If you're in MATCH COOK mode, zone 2 settings are copied from zone 1 and start together. If zone 1 is in AIR BROIL, MATCH COOK is not available. Also, in SMART FINISH mode, the second zone may show "Hold" until the cook times sync—this is normal, it will start automatically.

HEADS UP: Ensure the removable basket is properly installed and closed before operating. The unit may not start if it detects an issue.
