the match cook button on my ninja foodi 2-basket isn't working, it won't copy the settings

— asked by Ryan

Match Cook has a couple of limitations. First, make sure you've set up zone 1 first.

  1. Select zone 1. Choose your function (AIR FRY, BAKE, ROAST, REHEAT, or DEHYDRATE). Set the temperature and time.
  2. Press the MATCH COOK button. This should copy the zone 1 settings to zone 2.
  3. Press START/PAUSE to begin cooking in both zones.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The MATCH COOK function will not work if you have selected AIR BROIL for zone 1. AIR BROIL cannot be used in Match Cook mode. Choose a different function for zone 1. Also, ensure you are not already in SMART FINISH mode, as they are separate features.

HEADS UP: Match Cook is for cooking a larger amount of the same food, or different foods using the same settings. For two different foods with different settings, use the zones independently or use the SMART FINISH feature.
