The unit isn't getting power. First, confirm it's plugged into a 120V wall outlet, not an extension cord. The power supply cord is short to reduce tripping and entanglement hazards.
- Press the POWER BUTTON on the control panel. The button should illuminate.
- If the button is dimly lit, the unit is in standby mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to wake it.
- If there's no response, unplug the unit, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in firmly and press the POWER BUTTON again.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Inspect the power cord and plug for damage. Do not use the appliance if there is any damage. The plug is polarized (one blade wider). If it doesn't fit fully into the outlet, reverse it. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug.
HEADS UP: For safety, always press the POWER BUTTON to turn the unit off, then unplug from the socket when not in use and before cleaning.
