DIAGNOSIS Foreign object interference or ice jam in the evaporator cylinder. A small piece of ice or mineral scale is caught between the auger and the cylinder wall.
FIX Immediately press the Power button to stop the cycle. Unplug the unit. Remove all ice from the basket. Use the included ice scoop or a plastic utensil to gently clear any visible jam at the top of the evaporator opening. Restart.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The auger drive motor mounts may have loosened. This requires disassembly. Contact EUHOMY support for service instructions. Do not operate with a persistent grinding noise.
HEADS UP The noise often starts after transporting the unit or if ice is left to clump in the basket for days. Regularly empty the basket and keep the evaporator clear.
