DIAGNOSIS The flashing red light indicates a water supply issue. The machine is not detecting adequate water flow or pressure to begin the ice-making cycle.
FIX Power down the unit and disconnect the water line. Check the water supply line for kinks or blockages. Ensure the water tank is filled to the MAX line with cold water. Confirm the unit is on a level surface, as a tilt can trigger the sensor. Reconnect power and restart.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The water pump or its inlet filter screen may be clogged with mineral deposits. You will need to perform a manual descaling cycle with a citric acid or vinegar solution, following the cleaning procedure in to clear the internal lines.
HEADS UP Using water with high mineral content (hard water) accelerates scale buildup. Regular monthly cleaning cycles are mandatory to prevent this fault.
