DIAGNOSIS The auto-clean reminder light activates after approximately 24 hours of cumulative operation. The machine will not initiate a new ice cycle until the cleaning cycle is either run or manually bypassed.
FIX To run the cycle: Ensure the ice basket is empty. Fill the water tank with clean water and two tablespoons of white vinegar or a manufacturer-recommended cleaner. Press and hold the Clean button for 3 seconds to start. The cycle runs for 15 minutes. To temporarily bypass: Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds. The clean light will flash but ice-making will resume for 24 more hours.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK A faulty sensor may be stuck triggering the clean alert. Unplug the unit for 5 full minutes to perform a hard reset of the control board.
HEADS UP Repeatedly bypassing the clean cycle will lead to scale buildup, reduced ice production, and eventual mechanical failure.
