DIAGNOSIS A completely blank display and no power indicates a loss of electrical supply to the control board. The primary suspects are a tripped household circuit, a faulty power cord, or a blown thermal fuse.
FIX Check your home's circuit breaker or GFCI outlet. Reset if tripped. Ensure the washer's power cord is firmly plugged into a live 120V outlet. Unplug the washer for 1 minute, then plug it back in. Listen for a single beep and watch for the display to illuminate briefly.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The problem is internal. The most common cause is a blown thermal fuse on the main control board, often due to a motor overload or power surge. The control board (part WH49X10021) or the user interface board must be tested and likely replaced.
