DIAGNOSIS The AutoRelease mechanism isn't activating. The most common cause is a disabled setting.
FIX Press and hold the 'Delay Start' and 'High Temp Wash' buttons for 3 seconds. You should hear a beep and see 'On' or 'Off' on the display. Toggle it to 'On'. Run a normal cycle to test.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the door hinge area for obstruction. A dish rack, tall utensil, or even the countertop can physically block the door from releasing open the last inch.
HEADS UP The door only auto-releases on Normal, Heavy, and Auto cycles when Heated Dry is selected. It won't open on Eco or Rinse cycles.
