DIAGNOSIS Power isn't reaching the main control board. The most likely culprit is the thermal fuse on the board blowing, often from a steam leak.
FIX
- Unplug the dishwasher or turn off the dedicated circuit breaker.
- Remove the lower kick plate. The main control board is behind it, mounted to the front of the tub.
- Visually inspect the board for a small, glass-encased fuse. Test it for continuity with a multimeter. If it's blown, the entire control board assembly must be replaced.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the power connection at the junction box behind the kick plate. A loose wire nut or corroded connection can interrupt power.
HEADS UP If the thermal fuse blew, inspect the door gasket and vent seal for gaps. Steam escaping onto the board is what causes it. Replacing just the board without fixing the seal will lead to a repeat failure.
