DIAGNOSIS Wet, mushy ice is caused by the ice not freezing completely before being harvested. The most common cause is ambient or water temperature being too high.
FIX Ensure the room temperature is between 50°F and 90°F. Use cold tap water, not room temperature water, to fill the tank. Do not place the unit near an oven, dishwasher, or in direct sunlight. Allow a 2-inch clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The problem may be a failing thermistor or a refrigerant charge issue. This requires professional service. Contact SenCre support with your model number and purchase date.
HEADS UP The first batch of ice after a cleaning cycle or prolonged idle period will often be wetter. Discard the first batch.
