Diagnosis
The lithium-ion battery is degrading or was not calibrated. Maximum capacity diminishes over time. A high screen brightness or constant audio streaming accelerates drain.
How to Fix It
First, perform a full battery recalibration. Drain the monitor until it powers off completely. Then, plug it in and charge it uninterrupted for a full 8 hours while it is turned off. After charging, turn it on and use normally. Repeat this cycle twice.
If That Didn't Work
Check and adjust power settings. Reduce screen brightness to level 2 or 3. In the menu under 'Settings' -> 'Power Saving', ensure 'ECO Mode' is enabled. This reduces power when the room is quiet. Turn off the monitor's background audio when not needed by pressing the volume button to mute.
Heads Up
Using any power adapter other than the provided 5V/2A adapter will not charge the battery effectively, leading to perceived fast drain. The battery is not user-replaceable. If recalibration fails, the unit requires service.
