Diagnosis
The filter is almost certainly clogged. This model has a single filter that feeds both the dispenser and the ice maker, but the ice maker uses less flow, so it often keeps working a bit longer when the dispenser slows to a crawl.
How to Fix It
Replace the water filter (it’s in the upper right interior). Twist it out, note the model (usually a MWF or XWFE filter). Before installing the new one, run a couple gallons of water through it to flush the air and carbon fines—otherwise, it’ll be slow at first too.
If That Didn't Work
Check the water line behind the fridge for a kink, especially if it’s a flexible plastic line. A sharp bend can restrict flow. Also, ensure the water shut-off valve behind the fridge is fully open.
Heads Up
Don’t use the filter bypass plug unless you’re troubleshooting. The system is designed to have the filter in place, and the plug can let sediment into the smaller dispenser valve, causing a whole new clog.
