DIAGNOSIS The opener is in its 30-second programming window, but it's not receiving a signal. This often means a previous programming attempt failed or a remote is sending a stuck signal.
FIX Clear the memory. Press and hold the yellow Learn button on the motor unit for at least 6 seconds. The LED will turn off. Release the button. This erases all remotes and keyless entries. The light will now be solid. Immediately press and release the Learn button again. The light will blink. Now program your primary remote by pressing its button within 30 seconds.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK A neighbor's opener or a nearby radio transmitter could be causing interference. Unplug the opener from power for 2 minutes to perform a hard reset of its logic board. This clears deeper memory.
HEADS UP After clearing memory, you must reprogram ALL your remotes and the keyless entry pad. The wall console will still work as it's hardwired.
