This allows it to wait for the second zone to catch up, so both items finish cooking and are ready to serve at the exact same time.
How to Fix It
This is an automated process; no intervention is required. The unit will manage the timing. When the time remaining in both zones becomes equal, the appliance will beep and automatically start the "Hold" zone's cooking again. Your food will finish simultaneously.
If That Didn't Work
If the "Hold" message seems stuck and cooking has stopped, you may have accidentally paused a single zone. To resume, press the button (Zone 1 or Zone 2) for the basket showing "Hold" on its display. Then, press the START/PAUSE button to restart the cooking cycle for that specific zone.
Heads Up
For best results with SMART FINISH, if you need to shake or check food, pause both zones together first. Press the START/PAUSE button once to pause both, perform your shake, then press START/PAUSE again to resume. This helps the function maintain accurate synchronization.
