DIAGNOSIS Hard water minerals aren't being rinsed away, often due to a clogged or spent filter or insufficient detergent dissolving.
FIX
- Immediately clean the internal filter assembly. Twist and lift out the upper filter, then remove the lower coarse filter beneath it. Rinse both under hot water to clear all debris.
- Use a rinse aid. This model has a dedicated dispenser. Fill it and set the dial to 'High' if you have very hard water.
- Switch to a high-quality detergent pod or gel specifically formulated for hard water. Powders can clump in this model if they get damp.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Run a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed upright on the top rack to dissolve internal mineral buildup.
HEADS UP Never use liquid dish soap. It will create a massive overflow of suds that coats the pump and sensors with a film that causes recurring rinse problems.
