You want to avoid standard glass cleaners. They can leave residues that smell when heated or damage the door's seals.
FIX: Here's the safe way to do it:
- Make sure the appliance is completely cool and unplugged.
- Wipe the interior and exterior glass with a damp, soft cloth using only warm water and a mild dish soap if needed.
- Dry it thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth to prevent streaks.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: For stubborn, baked-on grease spots on the inside, make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply it gently with the soft cloth, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe clean with the damp cloth and dry.
HEADS UP: Never use abrasive scrubbers, steel wool, or oven cleaners. They will permanently scratch the glass. And never immerse the door unit or the main body in water.
