eufy 11s won't go back to its charging base, it just wanders around until it dies

— asked by Lisa

The Charging Base placement is critical. Also, dirty charging pins are a common culprit.

  1. Place the Charging Base on a hard, level surface, against a wall. Not on a rug.
  2. Clear the area. Remove all objects within 3 feet to the left/right and 6 feet in front of the base.
  3. Keep the Charging Base plugged in at all times. It won't signal the RoboVac if unplugged.
  4. Dust off the charging contact pins on both the RoboVac and the base with a dry cloth.

If that didn't work: Check the base's indicator light. If it's not solid white, the base may be faulty—contact eufy service. Also, if the RoboVac starts far from the base, it takes time to find its way back. Be patient.

Heads up: The RoboVac returns automatically when the battery is low or cleaning is finished. If it's not docking, it will die where it stands.
