You'll want to clean it weekly to keep ice tasting fresh. Here's how.
- Stop the cycle. Press the ON/OFF key, unplug it from the wall, and let it warm to room temperature.
- If there's water in the ice tray, gently push the tray back so it drains into the water reservoir.
- Move the unit forward about 60mm from your counter edge. Open the drain plug at the bottom to drain all excess water.
- Remove the ice basket.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth soaked in warm water and vinegar. Rinse with clean water and drain completely.
- Replace the drain plug securely. Wash the ice basket and scoop in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft damp cloth. Use mild dish soap if needed.
Important: Do not use organic solvents, boiling water, strong acids, or alkalis. Do not clean the evaporator. Do not immerse any part in water.
