i just got this and the display is showing 'Err' and it won't do anything, how do i reset it

DIAGNOSIS A generic error state, usually triggered by a brief power glitch or the unit overheating during its first preheat cycle. It's a soft lock, not a permanent failure.

FIX Perform a hard reset. This clears the temporary error from the unit's simple computer.

  • Unplug the air fryer from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds. This allows all internal components to fully power down.
  • While it's unplugged, ensure the basket is correctly seated in the drawer and the drawer is fully inserted.
  • Plug the unit back in. The 'Err' message should be gone, replaced by the standby display.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If 'Err' returns immediately or after trying to start a cook cycle, the temperature sensor might be faulty. Unplug it again and let it sit for a full hour to cool down completely, then try the reset steps once more. If it persists, it's a warranty issue.

HEADS UP Always plug the air fryer directly into a wall outlet, not a power strip or extension cord. Inconsistent power can trigger these errors.
