Diagnosis
A single, short beep immediately after plugging in your Euhomy Mini Fridge is a normal, expected function. It is not an error or alarm. This audible signal indicates the control system has successfully powered on and is initializing.
How to Fix It
No action is required, as the beep is standard operation. After the beep, you should:
- Allow the fridge to run for 4-6 hours before loading it with beverages to ensure it reaches its optimal cooling temperature.
- Check that the interior light turns on when you open the glass door, confirming full functionality.
- Verify the digital display (if your model has one) is illuminated and showing the default set point, typically around 43F (6C).
If That Didn't Work
If you hear repeated beeping, a continuous alarm, or no beep at all when plugging it in, then:
- Ensure the power cord is fully inserted into a working wall outlet.
- Check that the door is completely closed. Many models have a door alarm that sounds if left ajar.
- If the unit fails to cool after the initial beep, unplug it, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in to reset the system. If problems persist, contact Euhomy support.
Heads Up
During initial setup, the compressor may be louder for the first 24 hours as it works to bring the empty cabinet down to temperature; this is normal. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides, especially the back, for proper ventilation.
