Diagnosis
A flashing green light after a short cycle typically indicates an overheating compressor or a ventilation problem.
How to Fix It
Move the unit immediately. It needs at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides, especially the back where the grille is. Clear any dust or lint from the rear ventilation grille with a vacuum hose attachment. Let it cool down completely (30 mins), then restart.
If That Didn't Work
The ambient room temperature might be too high. This unit must operate in an environment below 90°F. If it's in a hot kitchen or next to an appliance, relocate it to a cooler spot.
Heads Up
Letting it overheat repeatedly can permanently damage the compressor. If the problem persists in a cool, ventilated location, the thermal cut-off fuse may be blown, which requires professional repair.
