Diagnosis
The unit is in standby mode, waiting out a cycle delay, or has a failed start due to a sensor fault.
How to Fix It
First, press the 'Power' or 'Start' button firmly. If that does nothing, unplug the machine for 2 full minutes to reset the control board. Plug it back in and press 'Start' again. Ensure the water reservoir is correctly seated and full past the minimum line.
If That Didn't Work
The main control board or start capacitor might be dead. This is a repair issue.
Heads Up
Some models have a 3-minute delay after being plugged in or reset before they'll start a cycle. Give it a few minutes after resetting before declaring it broken.
