Diagnosis
The freezing cycle is being interrupted, usually because the ambient room temperature is too warm. It needs a cool environment to form solid ice cubes.
How to Fix It
Move the ice maker to a cooler location, away from direct sunlight, ovens, or heaters. Ensure there's at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation. The ideal room temperature is below 77°F (25°C).
If That Didn't Work
The unit might be low on refrigerant due to a leak, which is a sealed system issue. You'll need to contact Northair support.
Heads Up
Don't try to add refrigerant yourself. Also, hollow ice is a classic sign of a too-warm room—check that first.
