installed the meross but the wall control panel doesn't work anymore, only the app works

Quick answer: You likely connected the wires incorrectly to the Meross terminal block. The wall button needs a specific closed-circuit connection to function.

Diagnosis

You likely connected the wires incorrectly to the Meross terminal block. The wall button needs a specific closed-circuit connection to function.

How to Fix It

Re-wire the connections at the Meross unit. Here's the correct sequence:

  1. At your garage door opener motor unit, identify the two screw terminals for the wall button (often labeled 1 and 2 or "wall control").
  2. Run two short wires from THOSE terminals on the motor unit to the two terminals on the Meross unit's "Wall Switch" connector block. The order doesn't matter.
  3. Do NOT connect the wall button directly to the opener anymore. The Meross now acts as the middleman.
This creates the proper circuit. Your wall button should work immediately.

If That Didn't Work

Your existing wall button might be a lighted model causing a power draw conflict. Try temporarily disconnecting the light bulb in the button or replacing it with a basic, non-lighted momentary contact doorbell-style button as a test.

Heads Up

Never connect the wall button wires to the "Sensor" terminals on the Meross unit. That's for the safety sensors and will cause a fault. The "Wall Switch" block is separate and clearly labeled.
