is it safe to use an extension cord with my cosori air fryer? my outlet is far from the counter.

— asked by Casey

You can, but you have to be very careful. The wrong cord is a fire hazard.

If you must use an extension cord:

  1. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as the air fryer's rating. This air fryer is 1725W at 220-240V.
  2. Arrange the cord so it doesn't drape over the counter where it can be pulled on or tripped over.
  3. Never let the power cord (or extension cord) touch hot surfaces.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the power-supply cord itself is damaged, do not use it. It must be replaced by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person. Contact Customer Support.

HEADS UP: This appliance has a short cord by design to reduce tripping. Always plug and unplug by gripping the plug, not by pulling the cord. Keep the cord out of reach of children under 8.
