You can, but you have to be very careful. The wrong cord is a fire hazard.
If you must use an extension cord:
- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as the air fryer's rating. This air fryer is 1725W at 220-240V.
- Arrange the cord so it doesn't drape over the counter where it can be pulled on or tripped over.
- Never let the power cord (or extension cord) touch hot surfaces.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the power-supply cord itself is damaged, do not use it. It must be replaced by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person. Contact Customer Support.
HEADS UP: This appliance has a short cord by design to reduce tripping. Always plug and unplug by gripping the plug, not by pulling the cord. Keep the cord out of reach of children under 8.
