A plastic smell during the first few uses is normal. It's from the manufacturing process. Here's how to get rid of it.
- Make sure the basket is empty and plug in the air fryer.
- Tap the FRY function. The display will show 195°C and 10 minutes.
- Tap Start/Pause to begin the cycle. Let it run completely until it beeps and shows "End."
- Let the unit cool completely, then wipe the inside with a slightly moist, non-abrasive cloth.
If that didn't work: If the plastic smell is still strong after a couple of empty cycles, it's best to stop using it and contact Cosori Customer Support.
Heads up: Always operate the air fryer in a well-ventilated area, and leave 5 inches (13 cm) of space behind and above it for airflow.
