Diagnosis
'CL' indicates the Child Lock function is active. All control panel buttons are disabled to prevent accidental changes.
How to Fix It
Deactivate Child Lock. Press and hold the Fan Speed button and the Timer button on the control panel simultaneously for 3 seconds. The 'CL' icon will disappear from the display. Normal button functionality will be restored immediately.
If That Didn't Work
The unit may have experienced a minor control board glitch. Perform a full reset. Unplug the purifier from the wall outlet. Wait for 60 seconds. Plug it back in. The 'CL' display should clear. If it persists, repeat the child lock deactivation sequence after the reboot.
Heads Up
Child Lock can be activated accidentally by pressing both buttons in quick succession. The remote control will still function when the panel is locked. Use the remote to adjust settings if you cannot immediately deactivate the lock.
