Diagnosis
The red blinking light is the filter replacement indicator. The unit enters a safety lockout and will not operate.
How to Fix It
Reset the filter timer. Press and hold the Filter Reset button on the control panel for 3-5 seconds. The red light will turn off. The unit should now power on normally.
If That Didn't Work
The filter may be physically obstructed or incorrectly seated. Remove both the Max2 filter and the Green True HEPA filter. Reinsert them firmly, ensuring they are fully seated in their correct slots. Attempt the filter reset again.
Heads Up
The filter timer is based on runtime, not actual filter condition. If you recently replaced the filters, you must perform the reset. The unit will not run with an active filter alert.
