Diagnosis
This is the pre-filter cleaning reminder. It activates after 200 hours of cumulative operation. The beep occurs every 30 minutes.
How to Fix It
Clean the pre-filter. Remove the front cover. Vacuum the reusable metallic pre-filter. Wipe it with a dry cloth. Reinstall it. Press and hold the Pre-filter Reset button for 3 seconds. The beeping will stop immediately.
If That Didn't Work
The unit may be in Ionizer mode. The ionizer can produce a faint, high-frequency sound mistaken for beeping. Press the Ionizer button on the remote or control panel to turn the ionizer off. Check if the sound ceases.
Heads Up
The pre-filter reminder cannot be permanently disabled. Regular cleaning is required for the main filters to function correctly. Set a calendar reminder to clean it every 4-6 weeks to prevent the alert.
