Diagnosis
A leak from the bottom of your Auertech portable washer typically means water is escaping from a connection point or component underneath the unit. The most common culprits are loose inlet or drain hose connections, a damaged drain pump housing, or a punctured internal water hose. Overfilling the tub can also force water past seals.
How to Fix It
- Unplug the machine and drain any remaining water.
- Access the back panel (usually held by a few screws) to inspect the internal components.
- Hand-tighten all visible hose clamps and connections, especially where the inlet hose meets the solenoid valve and where the drain hose connects to the pump. Do not use tools, as over-tightening can crack plastic fittings.
- Run your hands along all internal hoses to feel for cracks, splits, or bulges. Check the drain pump housing for hairline fractures.
- Ensure you never fill the wash tub past the "Max" water level line indicated inside the drum during use.
If That Didn't Work
If tightening connections doesn't stop the leak, the issue is likely a failed component. The drain pump is a frequent failure point; a crack in its plastic housing or a failed seal will cause a steady drip. The internal water inlet valve can also develop leaks. You will need to identify the exact source with the machine running, then order the specific replacement pump, valve, or hose assembly from Auertech or an appliance parts supplier.

Always disconnect power and water before any inspection. When testing for leaks, place the machine on a thick towel and have a container ready to catch water. Using excessive force on plastic fittings will cause more damage.
