DIAGNOSIS: Your camera is losing its connection to the Wi-Fi network. This is almost always a weak or unstable Wi-Fi signal at the camera's location.
FIX: First, check the signal strength in the Blink app. 1) Open the Blink app and go to your camera's settings. 2) Look for the "Device Health" or "Signal Strength" indicator. If it's one bar or shows "Poor," your Wi-Fi is the problem. 3) Move your Wi-Fi router closer, or move the camera closer to the router. Even a few feet can make a big difference. You can also try a Wi-Fi extender.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the signal shows as "Good" but it still drops, the issue might be interference. Other electronics like microwaves, cordless phones, or even a neighboring router on the same channel can cause this. Log into your router's settings and try changing the Wi-Fi channel to something less crowded.
HEADS UP: The Blink Mini 2 only connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. If you have a dual-band router with the same name (SSID) for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, it can confuse the camera. Try temporarily disabling the 5GHz band during setup to be sure.
