Undercooked or soggy food is almost always due to overfilling, insufficient temperature, or lack of oil.
- Don't overfill. Place smaller batches in the basket. If it's overstuffed, air can't circulate and food cooks unevenly.
- Adjust settings. Increase the cooking temperature or time.
- Use a little oil. Spraying or brushing a small amount of oil on food increases crispiness.
If that didn't work: Make sure you're using the crisper plate—it lets excess oil drip away. Also, for items like fries, refer to the specific fry setting and guidelines in the recipe book.
Heads up: Preheating is recommended. Tap PREHEAT (default 205°C for 4 minutes) before adding food for more consistent results.
