Yeah, this one's common. White smoke or steam is usually normal, but you should check a couple things.
Fix: First, make sure the basket and the inside of the air fryer are clean and not greasy. Cooking greasy foods causes oil to collect under the crisper plate, and that oil produces white smoke. The basket might be hotter than usual, so handle it with care.
If that didn't work: If you see dark smoke, that's different. Unplug it immediately. Dark smoke means food is burning or there's a circuit problem. Wait for the smoke to clear before pulling the basket out. If the food isn't burnt, contact Customer Support.
Heads up: It might produce some white smoke the first time you use it. That's normal from the manufacturing process. Running an empty test cycle (AIR FRY at 195°C for 10 minutes) can help clear it.
