Diagnosis
The robot is stuck in an error state, usually because it can't see or its bumper is jammed. The red light is a general alarm.
How to Fix It
Power cycle the robot first. Pick it up, press and hold the physical power button on the side for 10 seconds until it fully shuts off. Wait 30 seconds, then press the button again to turn it back on.
If That Didn't Work
Check for physical obstructions. Remove the front bumper by gently pulling it away from the body and clean behind it. Wipe the LIDAR turret on top and all cliff sensors (the black windows around the bottom) with a dry microfiber cloth.
Heads Up
If the red light persists after this, the error is likely internal. You'll need to note any specific flash patterns and contact Narwal support—they'll ask for a video.
