Diagnosis
The control is detecting an open circuit in the oven bake element. The F2 indicates a fault, E1 is the specific error.
How to Fix It
Unplug the range. Remove the back panel. Disconnect the wires from the bake element terminals. Test element resistance with a multimeter. Infinite resistance means element is dead. Replace the bake element. Part number is typically W10307385.
If That Didn't Work
Check the wire harness from the element back to the control board for damage. A damaged harness can cause the same open circuit error.
Heads Up
The bake element can fail without visual cracks. Always test with a meter. Plugging the unit in with the back panel off risks shock.
