puroair 240 filter change light is flashing red, but i just put a new filter in. how do i make it stop?

You need to manually reset the filter life counter after installing the new filter. The unit doesn't know you changed it automatically.

1. Make sure the new, genuine PuroAir filter is installed correctly and all plastic packaging is removed.
2. With the purifier plugged in and powered on, locate the Filter reset button on the control panel.
3. Press and hold the Filter reset button down for a full 3 seconds.
4. Release the button. The red flashing Filter change indicator light should turn off, confirming the reset.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Double-check that you're using an official PuroAir 240 filter. Third-party filters can cause operational issues and may not be recognized properly. Also, ensure the filter is fully seated inside the unit and the magnetic cover is snapped securely into place.
