puroair 240 wifi light is off and i can't control it from the app anymore. how do i reconnect it?

The unit lost its Wi-Fi connection, likely due to a router reset or network change. You need to re-pair it.

First, check basics: Is the purifier plugged in? The Wi-Fi connection only stays active if the unit has power, even if it's turned off. If it was unplugged, plug it back in and wait a minute for it to try reconnecting.

If the Wi-Fi light is still off:

  1. On the purifier, press and hold the Wifi button for 3 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator starts flashing (pairing mode).
  2. Open the PuroAir app on your phone. Ensure your phone is on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network you want the purifier to use.
  3. In the app, go to add a device and follow the in-app instructions to reconnect.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: You may need to reset the purifier's network settings. To perform a factory reset on the Wi-Fi, press and hold the Power button (not the Wifi button) for 10 seconds. This erases all saved settings. Then, start the setup process from the beginning as if it were a new device.

HEADS UP: If you changed your home Wi-Fi password or network name (SSID), you will need to reconnect the purifier using the steps above. It cannot update credentials automatically.
