Diagnosis
The infrared (IR) LEDs are reflecting off a surface directly in front of the camera, causing lens flare and overexposure.
How to Fix It
Physically reposition the camera. Avoid pointing it at glass, mirrors, glossy paintings, or any reflective surface within 3 feet. The IR light is bouncing straight back into the lens.
If That Didn't Work
Check for a translucent film or sticker left on the clear IR window surrounding the camera lens. Remove it. Also, ensure the camera's built-in privacy shutter is fully retracted.
Heads Up
Do not disable night vision to solve this. The camera needs IR to see in darkness. The fix is purely physical relocation or obstruction removal.
