Diagnosis: The plate isn't seated firmly, or you're turning the basket over too quickly.
Fix: Before cooking, make sure you firmly press the crisper plate down into the basket until it's fully seated and flat. Listen for a slight click or feel it lock in.
If That Didn't Work: When shaking food, hold the basket handle with one hand and support the bottom of the basket with the other to stabilize the plate. Shake gently over the counter.
Heads Up: Always place the hot crisper plate on a heat-resistant surface after removal. Never try to unscrew the basket handle—it's not designed for that.
