Diagnosis
A clog or hair wrap has jammed the roller brush mechanism, or the drive belt has slipped off its motor pulley.
How to Fix It
Power off and remove the vacuum from the dock. Press the roller release button and remove the roller cover. Manually extract all hair and debris wound around the ends of the roller brush. Check the square drive socket on the roller for any obstructions. Reinsert the roller, ensuring it clicks fully into the drive mechanism.
If That Didn't Work
Inspect the white nylon drive belt inside the vacuum head. It should be looped around a small motor pulley. If it is detached or broken, it must be re-routed or replaced. A broken belt requires a replacement part.
Heads Up
Regularly clean the roller after each use to prevent this jam. Severe jams can overheat and damage the drive motor.
