can i use my netgear orbi rb752 as just an access point? i have another router

Yeah, you can set it to Access Point mode. This turns off its router functions so it just broadcasts WiFi.

Here's how:

1. Connect a computer to the Orbi network and go to orbilogin.com. Log in.
2. Go to ADVANCED > Advanced > Router/AP Mode.
3. Select the AP Mode radio button.
4. Click Apply. The Orbi will reboot.

In AP mode, your main router handles DHCP and the Internet connection. Connect the Orbi router's yellow Internet port to a LAN port on your main router.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Make sure you're using the correct admin password. If you forgot it, you'll need to do a factory reset using the Reset button on the back. Also, in AP mode, features like parental controls and DHCP server management are disabled—those need to be handled by your main router.

HEADS UP: All Orbi satellites connected to this router will also switch to AP mode. The sync process between them remains the same.
