can i use my roomba 694 to clean up a small water spill or some kitty litter?

— asked by Riley

No. Do not use it to pick up anything wet or liquid. This includes water, spills, bleach, paint, or damp kitty litter.

The robot is for dry floor use only. Liquids will damage the electronics and create a shock hazard. It is not designed to pick up sharp objects, glass, or anything that is burning or smoking either.

For kitty litter or other dry debris, you can use it, but always do a quick visual sweep first. Pick up objects like clothing, loose papers, blind cords, and power cords. If the Roomba drags a power cord, it could pull something off a shelf.

Heads up: Never spray or pour liquids on the robot. Always handle the robot and its Home Base with dry hands.
