roomba 694 won't connect to wifi, the indicator just blinks. how do i fix it?

— asked by Alex

The Wi-Fi indicator blinking indicates a connectivity issue. The first step is a system reboot.

  1. Press and hold the DOCK and SPOT buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
  2. Release when all indicators shut off. You'll hear a tone confirming the reboot.

If that didn't work, check your Home Base placement. It must be:

  • In an open, uncluttered area.
  • At least 1.5 feet on each side.
  • At least 4 feet in front of it, and 4 feet away from stairs.
  • At least 8 feet from any Virtual Wall Barriers.
Ensure the Home Base is plugged in and in an area with consistent Wi-Fi coverage.

After rebooting, open the iRobot HOME App to confirm any cleaning schedules are still intact.
