Yeah, this one's common. If it was in a cold space, you need to let it warm up. Give it a few hours to reach room temperature before plugging it in.

Also, make sure you're using a proper three-prong grounded outlet. Don't use an extension cord unless it's a No. 14 AWG minimum size, rated for at least 1875 watts.
