Diagnosis
The flashing red light is a thermal cut-off warning. The motor or internal electronics got too hot, likely from a very long blend or back-to-back cycles.
How to Fix It
- Immediately unplug the blender base from the wall.
- Remove the pitcher from the base.
- Let the entire unit cool down for at least 30-45 minutes at room temperature.
- Plug it back in. The light should be solid green, ready for a normal cycle.
If That Didn't Work
The unit may not be sitting flat, causing the motor to strain. Check that all four feet are intact and the base is on a completely level, stable counter. A wobble can trigger the sensor.
Heads Up
To prevent this, never run the Peak Power cycle for more than 60 seconds continuously. For thick mixtures like nut butters, use shorter 20-second pulses with rests in between.
