Diagnosis
The leak path is either the center gasket isn't sealed or the blade assembly isn't tightened enough.
How to Fix It
Disassemble, clean, and reseat.
- Unscrew the blade assembly from the pitcher.
- Remove the gray silicone center gasket. Inspect it for tears, nicks, or food debris stuck underneath.
- Clean the gasket and the channel it sits in. Ensure both are completely dry.
- Re-seat the gasket perfectly in its channel. Screw the blade assembly back on very tightly by hand.
If That Didn't Work
The pitcher itself may be cracked. Inspect the plastic threading or the bottom of the pitcher for hairline cracks, especially if it's been dropped.
Heads Up
Always hand-tighten the blade assembly as much as you can. Do not use tools, but make sure it's firmly snug. A loose fit is the #1 cause of this leak.
