Quick answer: A safety interlock is triggered. This is almost always because the lid isn't fully closed and latched, or the drip tray/crisper lid isn't correctly seated.

Diagnosis

A safety interlock is triggered. This is almost always because the lid isn't fully closed and latched, or the drip tray/crisper lid isn't correctly seated.

How to Fix It

  • Check the main lid. Open it fully, then close it firmly until you hear a distinct click from the latch mechanism.
  • Remove the Smart Cook System lid (the top part with the heating elements). Check that the silicone gasket is clean and seated properly, then reattach it, pressing down firmly on all sides until it clicks into place.
  • Remove and reinsert the drip tray completely. Ensure the Crisper Lid (if using the Air Fry function) is clicked into the drip tray properly.

If That Didn't Work

The unit may have overheated. Unplug it from the wall for 15 minutes to allow it to cool and reset completely, then plug it back in and try again.

Heads Up

The three-beep error is generic. If the issue persists after checking all physical components, the magnetic lid sensor itself may be faulty.
